7 Outfits from Never Have I Ever Season 1

I have no fashion sense. Any outfits I get are often inspired by different media–it’s television in this case. Never Have I Ever Season 1 was released in 2020. Here are the outfits that have caught my attention.

1. Devi’s Orange Striped Crop Top

Devi’s crop top takes me back to my pre-teen years.

Right from the beginning, we get to admire Devi’s style. She wears a orange striped crop top (which I am almost certain I had a similar one years ago), a cardigan, baggy jeans, black tennis shoes, and some hoop earrings. For a nerd, she sure does have style.

2. “The Princess Jasmine”

Devi dresses in a Lehenga in order to celebrate Ganesh Puja (aka Ganesh Chaturthi). Somewhere in my research, I can across an article that shares from where the show bought its Indian garb. The clothing in the website is so beautiful, but very expensive. Check out some of the outfits.

Currently I am taking an East Indian/Bollywood dance class and we have to buy/choose costumes. I have no idea what to get, but looking online I have found some outfits I love. Here’s one I like for its look, but I wouldn’t wear it to perform. There are so many beautiful outfits.

3. Kamala’s Urban Professional Look

Kamala's business casual

Business casual is one of my favorite. I keep buying clothes for it but I never wear them. I don’t know why I do that. But anyways, I love her outfit: blazer, button-up shirt, jean capri, and ballet flats. I almost certain I have all these in my collection.

4. Kamala in Pink

When overemotional Devi ran away from home, her Kamala came to bring her some things from home. She’s wearing a floral blouse with a matching pink button-down sweater, jean capris and some loafers. I hate to say this…but despite liking this outfit, Kamala has a mom look going on. It’s also a sort of sweet girl next door look too.

5. Nalini’s Professional, But Also a Mom Look

Nalini's business casual

I already said I love business casual, but did I also mention that I like solid colors a lot. You can do a lot with then. Right here, Dr. Vishwakumar kept it simple. A chestnut colored tee with khaki high-waisted slacks and a necklace.

6. Devi’s Black and Stripes

Right here, Devi is wearing black and white stripes pants. I love those pants. Pair it with a black tee and you have a simple and comfortable, but also cute look. Actually, this outfit is very similar to Nalini’s outfit above.

7. Super Cute Sunflower Tee and Jean Skirt

Cute sunflower tee shirt

Hailing from the Sunflower state. I can’t say “no” to this adorable sunflower tee. After I saw this, I really attempt to find a shirt like this. It’s cute and comfortable (which is my preferred style). I love the jean skirt that is paired with it.

Which of these style do you like the most?
