To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Snack List

May 11, 2020 by Marissa

In the book, To All the Boys I’ve Loved before Lara Jean, her friends, and her family snack a lot. I have created this comprehensive list of all the snacks that they consume.

Honey Nut Chex Mix

Honey Nut Chex Mix

Honey Nut Chex Mix is a snack mixture of Chex cereal, pretzels and many more. I often buy Chex mix, but I typically buy the bold flavor one because I don’t like sweet things very much. You can buy one or just make your own.

Butter Popcorn

Butter popcorn

Butter popcorn is what I snack on daily at my house. I don’t quite eat it like Kitty in the book (mainly because I don’t have the movie theater butter here). My husband prefers kettle corn, but since I shop…butter is the usual winner. I also heat popcorn kernels on the stove as well to create my own popcorn flavors.

Oreos with a glass of milk

Oreos with a glass of milk

Oreos is a household favorite. Whenever I eat them, I don’t eat them with milk because I don’t care for milk. How do you eat your oreas?

Korean Yogurt Drink

Korean Yogurt drink

I buy these weekly; ever since I saw characters always drinking them in asian dramas. My son always seems to drink them all before I even get to them though.

Pirate Booty

Pirate booty white cheddar popcorn

Pirate Booty is a bagged popcorn snack. I tasted it once and didn’t care for it. I prefer a different brand for my white cheddar popcorn needs.

Honey Bun

Little Debbie Honey Buns

Honey buns are a sweet doughy snack. I don’t eat these. They are too sweet for my preference.

Iced Tea and Potato Chips

Lay's potato Chip

The basic potato chip goes well with almost anything. But I have never eaten them with iced tea. Since I typically eat more flavorful chips, I don’t care much about what brand of these potato chips because I usually eat these with Valentina hot sauce (and with an occasional squeeze of lime). As for the iced tea, you can follow my recipe here.

Strawberry Gummies

Strawberry Gummy Candy

To be honest, I am not even sure if “gummies” is a proper word, but that’s what I called them. I have seen these at the store, but I never bought them. So I will definitely try these ones.

Wasabi Peas

Who would have thought this could be a snack? It does not interest me, but I am willing to give it a try. I have seen these at the store at the time and wondered who eats these. Lara Jean does.

Pocky

Pocky

The history of my life and pocky go way back. If I had to guess, I would say this would be my first Japanese food that I have ever tasted. It’s cookie stick that is dipped in different flavors. I just bought some at the store. Flavors I bought are matcha, strawberry, and chocolate.

Cranberry Ginger Ale

Cranberry Ginger Ale

I have tried cranberry ginger ale before and I’m thinking I thought it was “meh”. It is hard to remember how I felt so I’m guessing I didn’t hate it nor did I like it. I also think that this flavor might be more difficult to find since cranberry is associated with Thanksgiving. I could be wrong though.

The majority of these snacks I have eaten. There are only a few that I haven’t tried.

Have you tried any of these snacks?
