This date is inspired by the Bollywood movie, Dostana. Kunal and Neha are really just friends, but Kunal wants something more. He takes her on this date as a friend, but his intentions are different. From this movie, this is my favorite date. Especially since it includes a scene from the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It’s is a different take on the classic dinner and a movie. I like it a lot more since it’s more inclusive.
Take a Ride
This isn’t exactly part of the date. Since they showed it, I will include it. So I guess start the date out by going on a ride.
Dinner
I’m not exactly sure what they eat (I’m usually good about finding out), but they do cook together first. Then they eat at a picnic table in the park.
So the official start to the date would be spending time cooking together and then going on a picnic. I think doing something active on a date help you get to know your date.
The Movie
An outdoor theater at the park. Riiiiight. They watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which is one of my favorites. I watched it a couple weekends ago and I still love it. This movie ended up being her favorite. Lesson learned: You can never go wrong with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. But that movie is 3 hours long!
This was the place where they watched the movie. It’s a nice setup. I think it’d be fun to watch an outdoor movie, but think I would like it to be more private than at a park.
They start to recreate a scene from the movie. So they start to dance. And they just so happen to be wearing the correct corresponding colors…riiight.
And they couldn’t recreate the scene without the fake rain and so here we have it.
I like how this whole date took place in one location. There you go have your dinner and movie al fresco.
